I didn’t come from money. I was raised by a single mom who taught us how to stretch every dollar and what a hard work ethic was, but not how to invest, build wealth, or use money as a tool. Even with my academic background, I found myself trapped in the same cycle so many women face: overspending to cope, staying in jobs or situations out of financial fear, and feeling weighed down by a mortgage that felt like a golden cage.
I hold degrees in both economics and sociology, driven by a fascination with how money shapes human behavior and choices. After college, I went into corporate finance with the dream of helping people like me — those who didn’t grow up with financial know-how — build stability and freedom. What I quickly discovered, though, was that the industry cared more about commissions than about real people, so I stepped away.
I’ve seen firsthand how women can transform their lives once they stop avoiding money and start working with it intentionally. Financial freedom isn’t about being rich — it’s about having choice and reclaiming your power.
This course was designed to give you the same — practical tools, mindsets, and confidence to create the independence you deserve.
